We had been using a number of leasing companies in the past. Nationwide's website caught our eye because it's so easy to use and had some great headline prices. My enquiry was responded to swiftly: Chris understood what I wanted and got to work offering us an array of vehicles.
Shock horror it transpired that the prices on the Nationwide web site were actually the real monthly prices not the price for a base model at 1,000 miles per annum spread over a 20 year lease. How often does that happen?
Incredibly efficient staff, swift sign up process, super fast delivery and set up. One of my fellow cynically directors poo poo'd the Nationwide arrangement as too good to be true, went direct to a dealer instead, one week later fed up and disenchanted with bureaucracy he returned with his tail between his legs, asked me for Chris' number who then promptly took over and the order for the same car was processed the same afternoon. Happy days.
The people at Nationwide Vehicle Contracts were exceptionally helpful. This is my first experience of leasing a vehicle and they made the whole experience trouble free.
The delivery man kept me informed of when he would arrive, which was really good as he got stuck in some awful traffic jams. From my first inquiry to delivery of the car was just under 3 weeks. Thank you to Emma and Jenny.
I was really impressed with the service Nationwide gave. The delivery timescales were spot on, friendly staff who always came back to you if you had a query and the process was easier than organising car insurance.

I have leased a car with Nationwide and I am concerned that I have received a car different to the one advertised.
I have two issues with Nationwide, one is the car advertised should look like the car a consumer receives and two the cooling off period should start when you receive the car and can view it.

Got the vehicle I wanted in the timescale I needed. Got a small upgrade on the car as the original one was not available. Emails seem rather short/concise but its probably because they are short of time rather than anything else. Very friendly on the phone. The service was good. It was all as agreed at the outset and I would certainly use them again.
I had spoken in the early part of 2013 to one of the staff members re lease of a Landrover. The initial converstaion left myself with a good and comfortable feeling re dealing with Nationwide. Following on from this initial call i placed an order in August and was given full guidance on cost, delivery etc. Service received was fantastic. Price for lease of vehicle was superb and all advice given beofre vehicle delivery was superb.

It's the first time I have used nationwide and I am very disappointed with the whole process, when I placed my order the sales team didn't know much about the extras on the car so I couldn't order any, once order was placed car arrived within the time scale but arrived dirty I don't except to go and have a brand new vehicle valeted!!
It's been nearly 2 weeks since delivery I've not been given any details of the leasing company or my point of contact if anything goes wrong?
The company needs to invest in training staff to a higher standard so they know the products they have on offer!
I'm was going to place a fleet order for my Busines but glad I only went for the one car.
Unless things don't change by the time my lease is up I don't see myself going back.
I had never leased a car until now and after looking round the internet and various dealerships I found nationwide, I applied to nationwide enquiring for a car I liked, they replied back to me by phone with a price and explained the process if I was to lease a car through the company, I decided to go ahead with it. The whole process too about 3 weeks and I was delivered my brand new car, couldn't be happier!
Overall a hassle free experience, very efficient and timely. Car arrived as planned and handover was straight forward.
One service improvement would be to call customer on delivery day to confirm delivery is on schedule, the email confirming delivery was received a few weeks prior therefore there is always a little doubt which a phone call or email would remove.
Nationwide made leasing a company van very easy from the first enquiry right the way through the process to delivery of the van. Every stage in the process was communicated in a friendly and professional manner and I was kept fully upto date on the progress of my application and delivery of the van. My van arrived a week early, clean and tidy. I found the customer service to be excellent and won't hesitate to use them again when I need to add another van and would highly recommend them to any business owner
We leased a Ford Focus for a new employee joining our company. Nationwide offered us a much better deal than any other leasing company and then topped it off by delivering the car to us several weeks earlier than the original date we had been given. Very good communication throughout the entire process. Well done!

Just could not believe the price we were quoted for a top of the range car, thought "There's got to be a catch", but there was none.
Ordered the car on 17 October, very friendly service, could not be more helpful, full marks to Mirelle for her constant attention and updates. It was in build at the time, so had to wait, but not for long - the car was brought to our door by a very pleasant driver on 19 November.
I'm a very happy customer, and will be using the same company for future vehicles, I shall look no further. Full marks, with a distinction!

the annoying thing we had recently was that the car advertised at one price but, we had to pay more per month. they basically said don't worry though you get parking senses for the diff even though the price seen should be the price given.
From the start we have had excellent service from Chris, nothing was too much trouble, they quoted a few different vans and we ended up with a Citroen Relay, their lease costs were one of the best we could find. delivery was when they said it would be and they delivered it to the door. well worth giving them a try if you need a new car or van.

I ordered my new car and was immediately given a delivery date which turned out to be very accurate, I was contacted and informed when the vehicle would be delivered and it arrived exactly as promised. I am delighted with the service I have received from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts - I have used them in the past and will most certainly continue to do so.
I was genuinely skeptical about leasing like this, the price quoted was far less than any other quote and I'm a great believer in you get what you pay for! However, it couldn't be further from the truth in this case. All staff provided great help and i was kept up to date with my order at all times. The car arrived on date and was as expected. I would recommend this company to others.

Very lengthy and drawn out process and didnt find the initial sales person Nick helpful at all. Equially unhelpful with my co-workers however the administrator Lorraine who took over the last process was helpful and efficient.
Car is lovely but exceeded the delivery date somewhat after being very vague which in turn made it difficult to handle the car hire in the meantime
This is the 2nd vehicle we have contracted hired through Nationwide Vehicle Contracts and their service is very good and we have been kept informed on our order all the way through the process.

I was fully kept up to date after i had decided on the car i wanted to lease with regards to paperwork, payments and the delivery date. I thought i would be tied in all day on the date of delivery although i had been told the driver would try and phone me on the delivery day an hour before delivery. I was absolutely delighted to look out my bedroom window at 8 30am to see my new car arriving on the back if a truck. Perfect service and so easy. I would definitely recommend Nationwide to my friends.
Originally I phoned and spoke with Adam Nutsey. I was nervous about leasing and I must have phoned him at least 10 times in one day, so much so I found it embarrassing because I felt I was pestering him. Adam was really pleased that I kept calling, he totally understood that I was nervous about committing myself financially to something for such a long period of time and was happy for me to call 20 times a day if I felt it necessary to do so. He was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. What I also liked about Adam was that he did not give me false expectations of the delivery date of my car. He was only 7 days short of the date I was originally given, so this allowed me to plan.
I also had help from Kaz (Karen Hatton), Lisa Hooper and Loz (Lorraine Collins). I liked the fact that they ended their emails with the shortened versions of their full names as it made me fell like I was contacting a friend. They helped me with a variety of questions and all the paperwork once the process began.
Then Lisa helped out with the GAP insurance, I felt more inclined to take this insurance with Nationwide than anyone else, purely based on the fact that I felt more secure taking it out with this company as well as the maintenance package.
All of the people I dealt were as prompt as they could be.
I love my car. Everything is as it should be, I will definitely recommend leasing to my friends and make sure that I encourage them to enquire at Nationwide first.
Was no told that a rental car would be delivered to the office prior to a weekend with my name on it as key holder. Car was left over the weekend on and industrial estate, emailed and phoned Nationwide with no response. 3 phone calls over the weekend which was when i was on holiday lasting approx 45 minutes each hanging on the phone. Only to find that phone call Monday to by the delivery driver that he would be delivering my car and was there a rental car at my office for him. Annoyed would not best describe how i felt spending the Friday evening and Saturday of my holiday trying to get hold of someone. Poor service. Still have had no response from Nationwide Team even though sent to emails and left telephone message on Friday and weekend.
I recently ordered a van from Nationwide. The price was good and the sales person I dealt with Mr Nigel Tullis was very helpful.
However I had to wait longer than necessary for delivery due to the administration department failing to send me paperwork on time and incorrect details on the forms which had to be returned. They also failed to keep me informed of progress which entailed myself having to continually contact them. Needs to improve as this was poor customer service.

I received a call next day from Chris who was not at all pushy and was there to help you with any query you had, attentive professional and happy to re jig quotes when I had the tough decision to choose paint colour and red or black leather.
I would highly recommend them as they offer a great service and the lowest quotes around, trust me I spent hours researching the market! all I have to do now is wait until Tuesday for my car to be delivered.

Like most people I was sceptical about the whole leasing thing and how it all worked, from the first phone call, to delivery of my vehicle the whole process has been easy and straight forward. I would recommend Nationwide to anyone now , can't fault them one bit.
Throughout the process of arranging my second lease deal with Nationwide the staff have once again been friendly, courteous and super-helpful (right down to helping me yesterday at very short notice sort the transfer of my parking permit to the new car). Every stage of the process has been dealt with efficiently and smoothly, and any questions or problems I have had have been answered or solved quicker than I could have expected – usually within minutes!
I don't take good customer service for granted and it's really nice to find a company that appears to take pride in helping people, and making them happy rather than just taking their money!

It's been a breeze using these guys. I rang up and had a chat on 14th October with the lovely Sarah who immediately provided me with a quote for the car I was after. The quote was unbeatable (I did try to get someone to better it but even competitors said what a great deal it was!) so I went for it. I was cleared on the financial front soon after and my car was delivered by a courteous gent yesterday on 6th Nov. Not having leased before, I honestly didn't think it would all be this painless and quick. The team at NVC were brilliant: warm, friendly, efficient and no hard sell. What a great experience. I'd recommend and would use again without any second thoughts.

Prompt, courteous service. The total cost for a three year lease for a Nissan Qashqai +2 (including deposit and monthly payments) was £3,000 cheaper than the same deal I was offered (after "discounts") at a dealership. Based on my experience, I would absolutely recommend Nationwide.
Just undertaken a personal lease for the first time on a Nissan Qashqai 360. We looked on lots of other websites and couldn't find another deal cheaper elsewhere. So went to our local Nissan dealership who took our details and tried to better the deal. But they were amazed and couldn't. Then they became sceptical and asked who it was with warning us that there were a lot of cowboys out there. But when we told them it was Nationwide they even agreed that it was a reputable company - so we went ahead. Service has been brilliant - Callan dealt with us and was great. Everything was simple. Car been delivered today as promised and is brilliant. Thanks.
