I HAve bought two tickets from turkey to amsterdam on april 19 with direction of skyscanner on bravofly.com then i have received an emaşl which says reservation request received and it will be finalized in a few hours. Then i slept. İn the morning i checked my emails if they sent the confirmation but there was an email which said reservation will be confirmed in 24 hours. After that i thought i was rooked and tried to call customer service of bravo fly. İ called several times but no connection established. Then i reached customer service automatic message and told me to enter my CREDIT CARD NUMBER to talk customer representative and added there will ve no charg until i talk to a representative. Right after i enter my card number an sms delivered to my cell phone that PAGSICURO GRUPPOBRAVEF company charged me 0.50€ eventhough i didnt talked to anybody. Then phone call cancelled by bravofly saying all customer representatives are busy. I called my bank and cancelled my credit card after that because this situtation is extremely suspicious and applied a form that this was internet robbery to get my money back. 0.50€ is a very little amount but they took that money for nothing with saying they will not charge anything. Then i called the bank which i paid tickets by şts credit card if they charged the card for tickets and babk confirmed that they took the money fır tickets. I think i will not be able to get my tickets and my money already sent to bravofly. And i have to pay extra money for my every phonecall to bravofly customer service evenif nobody answers!!!!! What kind of a company is that. This is truly fraudulence. NEVER EVER ENTER BRAVOFLY.COM AND BE AWARE OF DANGER BE SURE THAT YOU WILL PAY FOR ONLY A POSSIBILITY TO GET TICKETS.
I'm trying to change my flight booking to this coming Thursday and despite calling the Australia number and "all lines being busy" for the first hundred times I call, I then get diverted to Switzerland where I am told they cannot help me until 9am in the morning, Switzerland time. I need to urgently change my flights and start planning my trip to the UK which is potentially in 3 days time and despite being 9am in the morning in Australia, I can't actually do anything today and I have to wait. I tried calling the number a couple of times to address this urgent issue that has arised and both times I was spoken to in a very rude way and told to "wait for an email". This is absolutely ridiculous and I have never experienced customer service quite like it. The customer service numbers states that the operators are 24/7 but this just means you can put in your requests 24/7 but you will only get responses between 9am - 5pm Switzerland time......not entirely useful when you live in Australia.
Not happy at all and now just left feeling anxious and concerned rather than excited and organised!!
I booked my flight a month ago. The website was experiencing technical difficulties and it processed my booking for the wrong date. Since then I have made 31 phone calls and 22 emails to every department and nobody in a supervisory or manager position will answer my calls or return my emails.
It has been 3 weeks since my official complaint to them and today they have emailed me to say I cannot change my flight due to the airline placing a restriction on the ticket. I then spoke to the airline and they said this is not true and i am free to change the booking to the day i want. But the arrogant and rude Bravofly staff will not believe me or the airline and they keep saying they will call back and never do!!!
PLEASE NEVER USE THEM!!!! I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED SUCH A RIDICULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Visa are now refunding me and taking it up with them through my credit card protection.
I have booked a flight via this awful company on Feb 1st.
Since then my flight has been changed several times because of a problem that the airline was experiencing and they had nothing to do as a third company. It sounds quite fair in the way they, as a company put it so. The final change was done, April 11. After struggling long enough while asking for earlier flights, I was forced to accept it.. However I then realised this causes me a night at the airport because of lack of transportations, I called again and asked for a possible change since this was not what I have booked or wanted. And just then I got informed by them that there ARE earlier flights (all of a sudden) but I need to pay extra for them.
Paying extra for a flight that I have ALREADY BOOKED in the very beginning and it has been changed many times? Even if I have mentioned in my complaint that I NEEDED an earlier flight which I have ALREADY PAID FOR not to sleep in some crappy airport?
Now I am waiting to be contacted again so that I can know how much I need to pay extra for the flight that I have ALREADY PLANNED/BOOKED/PAID FOR in the very beginning.
I find this whole policy ugly, careless and rude. I feel like I have been fooled.
One does deserve to be treated as a valuable passenger. Not someone that can be milked by some smart company with a careless policy.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT PRICELESS ANXIETY, IRRITATION AND WASTE OF ENERGY!!!!!!
Venlig hilsen Lasse A.
I'm writing to informe everybody that this company is ok, they did confirme my flight and and i got my reservation a few hours later, but i also want to say to this company that they need to review their system on how they do thing or speed it up, because as a costumer i was very anxious and didnt know wether i even had a seat or not.
and hope there is no alteration till the date.
DO NOT USE BRAVOFLY - Total rip-off! They took my money and then couldn't confirm the flight or provide a ticket. No one answers the "all times" help line and they CHARGE YOU FOR THE CALL! Then I went to cancel the booking that they couldn't confirm and they charge a "penalty" to cancel.
I had a few issues in regard to my booking. Initially I had trouble getting hold of Bravofly, and the invoice I received connecting to Bravofly customer service kept on being returned undeliverable. Panic bells went off - Are Bravofly a real company? Are my personal and credit card details all over the net?
I tried several times to contact Bravofly via telephone, but there lines were always busy. However, after much research I found a number here in Australia and manged to talk to Pierre (I think) - who reassured me I had indeed been booked on flights and all was ok.
But get this - I had seen an email on a review website which said if you have to contact Bravofly then email Sofia. So I had emailed her before I spoke with Pierre - well, I can't praise her enough. The next day, not one, but three emails from Sofia, confirming my flight, my booking and guaranteeing my details had not been sent elsewhere.
I am sure Bravofly employs lots of wonderful people like Sofia - but as far as we are concerned SOFIA ROCKS!
I booked a flight on 19th April and ticket back on 21st april ... recieved the confirmation email in 4 hours . Went to the airport and BAM the flight is booked for 17th MAY which is a month later ... teied to email them .. nothing . Tried to call them , they asked fir my credit card , which after I didnt talk to anyone and they took .5 € from me .
I call this a scam
Bravoflys "customer service" totally sucks in my opinion. I cancelled a flight some time ago and needed information about the ticketprice, my insurance company wants to know how much of it includes taxes and so on. So I called and asked for help with this. The guy who answered my call couldn't help me with this(!) but instead refererred me to some other instance and gave me an e-mail adress. He couldn't mail me the adress, for god knows what reason, and though I asked him to several times, but no. On top of it he misspells it to me, and I can almost feel him getting irritated when I ask him what his problem with mailing me the information is. So now I've tried to send my inquiry to 5-6 versions of this adress but my mail bounces back. Unbelievable! That's why I wanted him to mail the adress to me in the first place...
Never bravofly again, if I can help it...
I bought two business class tickets from Stockholm to Vancover (round trip) from Bravofly.com and paid over 1000 Euro extra for Business Class vs Economy. After charging me close to 4000 euros, they ring me up to explain that there has been several mistakes in the booking and the confirmation email, and that I will have to accept Economy class or pay extra for an upgrad to Business!
They offered me a refound, but as we are close to the travel date now, all other tickets are much more expensive now!
I talked to the Airline KLM and the can not do anything, but they also warned me for Bravofly.com.
Please do not do the same mistake as I did, do not book with bravofly.com!
If you are unlucky enough to have an issue with your booking do not expect any help from Bravofly's customer service. I had the unfortunate experience of trying to change my flights, and the two times I had to call I was simply told "no" by both representatives without a reasonable explanation. I was also told that even if I had booked directly with the airline they would not have changed the flights either. Which was a pure outright lie, as I spent an hour on the phone with the airline trying to change them, but they advised that they would, but as I had booked through a 'travel agent', they could not and I had to contact them. If I had booked through the airline, they would have charged a change fee, but certainly would have been able to change my flights...
If your are considering booking with Bravofly, don't... Simple as that. They may offer a better price, but you will end up paying more than the airlines advertised price if you have the unfortunate need to change your flights or even worse a terrible experience if you must have to deal with your travel agent 'Bravofly'.
For any Bravofly reps that read this, never again! And I will be spreading the word. And one of the agents names that I spoke to was apparently 'Mike' based in London. Who hung up on me without cause. I can only hope that the call was recorded as he advised for when I ring to complain.
I had all of the below problems with Bravofly; however I did receive an e-mail from Sofia@bravofly.com apologising for the way I was treated by the company. She also confirmed that they will be refunding all of my money back in to my account that I paid with. I was also given a 15 euro voucher as a gesture of goodwill. I am just happy I finally got my money back; the only problem is that flight tickets have increased now due to the delay caused by them. If u have a problem, e-mail sofia, she will help u promptly.
I booked two flight tickets with Bravofly and I got a confirmation e-mail of different flight details. I managed to get a refund for the tickets, in the form of credit (which would be less than what I paid) or in the form of a voucher for the full amount. They sent me the wrong amount by voucher, and then a later voucher making up the amount . However the flight i re-booked with them was void. When I went to book another flight with them that night, I was restricted to using only one of the vouchers they gave me; and they tried to charge me 23 pounds for administration fees as opposed to the 11 pounds I originally paid. If they had sent me the correct voucher amount in the first place, I would have managed to get this booking at no extra cost. I have been calling and e-mailing their offices all day asking for them to combine my two vouchers, so that I wont have to pay an extra 30£ in total for something that was not my mistake. I e-mailed Sofia, and although she responded that the vouchers would be amended, they still have not been. While I am sitting here waiting, the prices are constantly going up. I don't know what else to do, because they keep saying they will call me back and they refuse to pass me on to a manager. Now I have asked for a complete refund, and I am just being ignored. I am waiting for Sofia to message me tomorrow, if she doesn't I want to form a complaint against the company.
I have to say, after having read the huge number of frustrated travellers over Bravo Fly's alleged incompetence, I am now dreading something really bad is going to happen...
Add to this the fact that this bloody company charges even for the right to breathe -they claim their flights are the cheapest, then they keep adding stuff up -10% for credit card OR Paypal payments, taxes (which are supposedly included in the initial fare), so the 77€ fare I was supposed to be booking ended up being 111€.
The only reason I booked with them is because theirs was the "cheapest" fare -I am traveling in a kind of last minute circumstance-. More importantly, it is a matter of principle; it is a matter of honesty and correctness:
BRAVOFLY: Be straightforward with your prices, yours is a clearly flagrant strategy to get unaware costumers to pay one and a half times the original "cheap" fare.
The only ones being cheap here are you -NOT the tickets you sell.
I WILL NEVER USE BRAVO FLY AGAIN -I strongly recommend anyone not to do it either.
The flight was due to leave yesterday morning & when he arrived at the airport he was told the flight had been cancelled ! They did not send any email to inform him & he is still stuck there! Please email us on email@example.com or him on firstname.lastname@example.org
I am becoming desperate and hoping this will get me somewhere. I have an upcoming booked flight fro Zagreb-Istanbul return. Merely by accident, I contacted Croatia Airlines to book a separate ticket for my friend only to be told that my return flight is cancelled because as of March 31, Croatia Airlines is no longer flying to Istanbul. So my first thought was, WHY DID BRAVOFLY NOT INFORM ME??? I started my phone calls yesterday. As I have a VoIP phone, I first called the USA number, only to get an extremely rude man saying "he will have to call the airline and confirm but will then call me back". No response. I called this morning (this time the UK number), received another rude man who told me the same thing. 3 hours later, I receive an email from BravoFly stating "change in flight schedule". BUT THE FLIGHT SCHEDULE DID NOT CHANGE!!! I called for the third time, AGAIN a rude man, who just kept saying "your flight is confirmed", and I kept trying to explain that the airline has confirmed with me that the return flight is cancelled. I again hear "will call airline and call you back". NO CALL. I am beyond frustrated because I keep hitting a dead end. WHAT AM I TO DO??? I don't want to buy another flight and I'm afraid they will not give me a refund!!!! HELP!!!!! This is the WORST company ever.
My boyfriend was supposed to go to Spain for 6 days. He wanted to book a flight, and he did, with bravofly, because they were by far the cheapest of them all. (€40 difference with other booking companies) He bought a flight with paypal. They charged it from his paypal account, and after a few hours they refunded the ticket. He tried again, and again the same thing happened. We assumed that it had not been possible for bravofly to contact the airline or whatnot. Paypal did take some time to get the money back to the bank account.
One day later I tried to buy the ticket and everything went as planned. Bravofly kept me updated at all times via e-mail. I found it very reassuring. Within a couple of hours the flight was confirmed and everything turned out okay. My father normally buys my tickets from bravofly and I have never heard him complain about bravofly, either.
Those minor setbacks did not really bother me. Just be sure to not use bravofly for a last-minute flight, because it takes some time to know if everything went according to plan.
i tried to book a flight vienna - warsaw, bravo fly displayed half of the price in comparison to other search sites, so I booked it, they charged the money and I received just an email that I should wait, so I did waited few hours, checked paypal - money gone.
then I called them and they told me that austrians airlines declined "me" for security reasons, but they havent informed me about, so where was the email which I should receive as an information - nowhere.
then the operator said that to money was only blocked - wrong it was gone, I opened up a dispute at paypal and next day I got the money back, but no flight.
so I called the flight company and they didnt knew anything about, so bravo did lie to me!
great thank you bravo fly, for complicating my situation, cause I did already planned everything for the flight, cause the price was OK, at least the one bravo fly offered, now I can change all my plans.
excellent, thank you bravo!
After booking with bravofly a cheap flight which should have cost 2000 US dollars I receive an email saying that my reservation had to be confirmed after they contact the airline. I didn't know why bravofly would sell tickets for an airline when they were not readily available . A few hours later I get an email stating my fligh went up in cost several hundred dollars, I confirmed the request to find that they charged almost another 2000 to my card...I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY THINK ITS NORMAL TO SELL TICKETS FOR A CERTAIN PRICE AND THEN DOUBLE IT . So if you want to get mad , waste money, this is the website for you. Then when you want to cancel they try and convince you that you approved the extra charges. I mean who in their right mind would do such a thing???? THEY Give you a hard time and don't even want to refund you the full amount when they made a mistake...I am waiting to see if a full refund is applied. I don't understand how this company doesn't even want to keep a reservation they just give you the option to cancel with penalties and don't even admit that they are wrong or made a mistake. I honestly don't know how they are even still in business
After booking flights with Bravo fly we had an email asking us to send our bank details for a refund. After calling the help line I was told that our flights had gone up in price since the booking and we needed to pay an extra £90 to secure them. I was unhappy with this. My friend had also booked at the same time and hers had been cancelled completely. I declined to pay the extra and was told that our flights had been cancelled. I was to wait for a refund phone call shortly.
The phone call never came and following a delay and several phone calls, emails and a lots of wasted time we were told our flights were actually really booked and despite having now booked more(because of what was said) I could not have a refund.
Despair! The phone system they use means nobody can be passed to a manager or someone of higher level - you are told to email them (nobody ever replied)
Enter email@example.com. I found her using their facebook page. I read the terms of the page and understood there were to be no complaints listed and if I had one to email her. From that moment on I felt reassured that someone could see the errors that were made and that everything was safe in her hands. Just over a month later I have a full refund in my hands. Not a great story about their phone line support but excellent service from firstname.lastname@example.org, reassuring to know that if all doessn't tgo to plan there is someone you can go to for help!
After making my case heard on here, I received a resonse from Sofia from Bravofly. She agreed that the response needed addressing and hey presto...........a full refund which I never expected.
My opinion has been turned around and I have to say I wish that I could get such a great response in other walks of life.
A big thank you to Sofia and well done Bravofly!!!
Me: "I have twice tried to book a flight through your website in the last 24 hours. The payment goes through and the reservation made, and then it gets cancelled a few hours later and the money refunded. What's going on?"
BravoFly Customer Service: "I don't know. There seems to be a technical fault."
Me: "Yes, your colleague said that yesterday when the first one got cancelled. Well, what can I do to make it work? I need to book this flight before the price goes up and --"
BravoFly: "Oh, Jesus, I DON'T KNOW! OK? I DON'T KNOW."
Me: "Okayyyy... so what do you suggest I do?"
BravoFly: "Just book with a different company."
Me: "Yes. Yes, I think I will."
Both times, I tried to make the payment through PayPal (because BravoFly charge extortionate fees for Visa cards - £7.50). There was £200 credit in my PayPal account — more than enough to cover the £73 cost of the flight.
Looking on other message boards, this "cancellation" seems to be not just common with BravoFly, but almost the norm whenever people try to pay through PayPal. Could they just be cancelling these flights because they don't get to apply the credit card mark-up?
Is seems likes this freezing money thing happens to many people. It is a serious matter, and I really don't understand that a site like Momondo.com can refer and use sites like bravofly. I have written a long complain to them, and advised them to take a look on all those reviews here. TO BRAVOFLY. As you can see here there is something wrong!!!
I booked my flight on my mothers credit card, some minutes after i got this email fro bravofly.
"Dear Gitte Kristensen,
we regret to inform you that it has not been possible to confirm your booking with reservation number 177964386 because a problem occurred during security controls in our system that did not allow to proceed with the confirmation of your reservation.
We kindly inform you that we have already provided to cancel the payment order that you made. Shortly you will receive a further communication with all the details.
For any clarification on this issue we are available for you from Monday to Sunday, 8-24 GMT London under +442071006746* (only from Great Britain and Northern Ireland) or +39 0423 402040 ** (Worldwide).
Customer Service Team"
After that i recieved another email.
"Dear Gitte Kristensen,
We inform you that your credit card was not charged, the price of the ticket was temporarily reserved on your credit card. This operation was cancelled with the cancellation of reservation.
The amount that you would have had to pay was in fact simply "frozen" at the time of booking and was not taken from the available credit of your card.
The available balance will be updated directly by your bank as soon as possible. For more details please contact the customer service of your credit card provider.
Customer Service Team"
How the hell are you allowed to freeze money on others cards?
Anyway we took it easy and called costumer service, they told that the money would be returned 2-3 days after. It is now Wednesday and nothing had happened. Yo people who wish to use Bravoly, I highly recommend you not to, as this thing obviously happens many times!!
To bravofly, ARMATURES. If you want to look professional then do something about this!!!!
Dear travelers and their friends and relatives!
Usually I don't have a habit to write reviews on services I had. Even when I had bad experience after a day or two my emotions are not so strong to express them.
The case of BRAVOFLY is absolutely different. We needed to by tickets for our relative as soon as possible. It was transcontinental flight and we were looking for the best price (as all we do). We found that bravofly offers the cheapest price and connections were fine, so we decided to buy the ticket.
After filling all boxes and paid for a ticket, we received an e-mail telling that they had received our REQUEST and had been AWAITING for the AIRLINE TO CONFIRM our booking. PLEASE NOTE THAT MONEY WAS FROZEN IMMEDIATELY!
Ok. we decided that everything is fine, because you could never think otherwise. But no! after two hours we received another e-mail telling that "it has not been possible to confirm your booking with reservation number XXX because a problem occurred during security controls in our system that did not allow to proceed with the confirmation of your reservation". we have a flight in about 30 hours, so this cancellation was just shocking.
We called them and a guy told us that we now we have NO ticket and NO money and that our money will be return in two days! Of course, it was like a madness, when you have spent money for a ticket and now you should spent another money to buy the same one. but the guy told me that he understand my felling - these words "helped" me.... for sure. So, we bought another ticket through more reliable company.
Two days after -no money on our account. 3,4,5 days - the same. After 7 days my husband called him and very rude 'lady' first of all read the comments the first guy left. Comments were: the client is very angry, the client wants his money immediately, the client wants for complaint to the police". After that the lady told that usually it takes 7 working days to proceed refund of money.
The moral: we have our money back. We decided to let as many people know about terrible bravofly service as we can. Please be aware of that company and never buy tickets through them.
Honestly, we think that in our case the problem was that they actually do not have direct connection with the database of airlines. So, when they show flights they do not have up-to-date information - not about time and prices. When they received request from us, they sent it to the airlines to get final confirmation. The airlines rejected, because the price wan't up-to-date. However, they had already frozen money.
I will also repost my comment in other travelers' websites.
BRAVOFLY, please do not comment my complaint.
I didn't read the reviews here before booking and then was fretting about it whilst the payment went through. I got the dreaded 'transaction voided' email and thought my money would be frozen for weeks.
I checked my bank account about 10 mins after the email and money was unfrozen from my account. I went and booked through the flight carrier themselves but I wouldn't have a problem booking through them again.
The service with Bravofly is horrible. I booked a flight fron Cairo to Columbo and had to cancel the flight because the timing was too late for our American guards to make it. They assured me that a refund would be given but not for the total amount. The flight was booked Dec 25, 2012, and email confirming the refund of $171.03 Eur would be credited back to the credit card on the 26th. It is now Jan 14 and when I call to find out the status one the one number that doesn't charge per minute, 917-628-2152 the representative just tells me to wait for the refund.
Meanwhile, I have my boss hounding me about the few dollars they assured they would refund every day.
If you appreciate cheap service for a cheap price, than bravofly is the way to go, but I prefer inexpensive flights with great service so I will take my purchases elsewhere.
I made the terrible mistake of booking flights through BravoFly. I booked flights from Zanzibar Tanzania to Rwanda Kigali. Two flights, two airlines one booking. The first flight was with Precision Air from Zanzibar to Nairobi. The second with Rwanda Air from Nairobi to Kigali. There was a 3.5hr layover in Nairobi. We we happy with the price and the timings.
THEN Rwanda airlines rescheduled the flight bringing it forward by over 2hrs leaving just over 1 hour layover. Given there is no ability to check in online with Rwanda airlines and you need to checkin 1hr before and clear immigration etc the rescheduled flight was no longer suitable. I asked Bravofly to put us on an earlier flight with Precision Air - they told me there were no earlier flights - a simple web search proved otherwise. I then asked for a refund so that I could make the change myself. They told me they would not give me a full refund. Given the rescheduling made the trip actually impossible I protested this. The staff member refused to refer the matter to a supervisor and refused the full refund. Nearly a month later I am still awaiting to find out how much bravofly will refund and am now out of pocket $600 having booked alternative flights directly with the airline. DO NOT USE BRAVOFLY
I would really recommend that you DO NOT use BravoFly. They charge you to make a booking even if it is on Debit or Paypal and change the fee based on the cost of your flight (the cheaper the flight the more the fee). I paid £45 to book flights from Birmingham to Paris CDG. I needed to make a change to the name on the flights and from then on it got worse and worse.
First of all they charge you £1.50 per min when you call their customer support number. When you finally get through on a poor quality line the customer service team are rude, unhelpful, irritated and generally lazy to deal with your request (if they say they will call you back- don't hold your breath). Before you think I'm generalizing or grouping everyone in the same boat, trust me, I spoke to nearly every one in the office.
My trip was to take a friend to see Ben Howard in concert in Paris over Christmas. But in an attempt to find cheap flights BravoFly changed my spontaneity into insanity.
I called a week before departure on Tuesday 11 Nov 2012 to change the name on a flight (I hadn't entered any other information like passport details d.o.b ect) and check with the airline to see if it was possible it would cost about £30. Not a problem. When I called Bravo Fly a guy with an Indian accent and soft spoken voice told me that changes to the name were impossible and he could do nothing. I then called the airline (FlyBe) who said that changes could be made to the name but only through the system which BravoFly used to book the tickets. The FlyBe staff were friendly, professional and helpful. I then called BravoFly again and explained that actually you can do name change, so let's get it sorted and paid for. He said he would call me back. He never did. The next day I spoke to a woman called Mara who was rude and impatient with me. She put me on hold for up to 15 minutes on this high rate line. They said they need the airline to confirm that a name change was possible, Flybe were quick to confirm this change and posted a note directly to BravoFly to give the 'all clear'. However, this was still not enough and BravoFly still failed to make any changes.
Their offices were closed over the weekend so I had to wait in anticipation to see if they name had been successfully changed (bearing in mind the longer the wait the more expensive a new booking would be) and on Monday I still had not received any phone call. I must of called BravoFly at least 6 times that day tried to sort out this simple issue. Every time I called I went through the same process of telling a different person (and sometimes the same person) my problem. Every time I got rude staff who raised their voices and simply failed to show and concern or matter of urgency. I eventually lost all patience and demanded to speak to a manager. I was told that the manager was unavailable and (here is the best bit) he/she didn't speak English! Well, I was frustrated, anxious and out of all options. After the whole day on the phone I was told it will be sorted and I would be called back.
I was left an answer phone message after 9pm staying that because I failed to pick up on my mobile (they missed a digit so it never went through) changes are no longer possible. When I called just after they actually had the tenacity to blame me for not picking up! It was unbelievable. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
In a last ditch attempt to save my Christmas break to Paris I emailed them the night before departure outlining as a matter of urgency the changes that they needed to make. I even wrote in this email 'Please call me at 8am as soon as your offices open to resolve this issue'. I never received a phone call. I had no other choice but to pay for and book a separate outbound flight.
So now I not only lost the money on an outbound flight I had to pay to buy a new ticket or the trip would of been cancelled. After calling BravoFly at the airport asking them that the return name still needs to be changed I was put on hold for 15 minutes (could of been longer but I refused to wait). BravoFly knew exactly what time I was meant to depart and 10 MINUTES before I actually board the plane someone calls and says "Would you like to pay £60 to change the name on your return flight?" Haha It was unbelievable, I never got to finish the conversation with BravoFly because I was literally walking onto the plane.
In Paris I called Flybe who were able to sort out the name change on the return flights at a cost of £59.99. It was still expensive for a 'cheap' flight but at least I finally got it sorted. Never the less, it was the airline who actually made the change not BravoFly- so what were they doing in the 6 days when I told them to change a name? I have no idea but they didn't help me. In fact they nearly ruined my whole trip. I saved up for this trip and ended up paying nearly double the BravoFly outlined flight cost. With the credit card fee, new flight booking and return flight name change I paid £240 over the initial costs. This doesn't include my phone bill which I'm really not looking forward to seeing.
BravoFly called me in the middle of a meal in Paris to confirm that Flybe had successfully change the name on the return tickets and apologised for any inconvenience caused. Sometimes an apology is not enough. Their inefficiencies and very poor customer service put undue stress and anxiety on both passengers. I hope in posting this detailed account of my experience with BravoFly I stop someone else going through what I did. I was offered no mitigation financial or otherwise from BravoFly.
If you read all of this review I thank you for taking the time.
I'm still trying to pursue some sort of compensation but BravoFly are not part of ATOL or ABTA so I'm struggling a little. If any one has any advice I would really appreciate it.
i wanted to cancel my flight, i had puchased the "no problem" insurance, but when i called them they told me that i might only get a partial refund or no money back at all! they don't speak very good english, and it cost 6 euro pr min. to speak to them!
it's a complete scam!
I booked with www.bravofly.com and had to make a cancellation which was okay and I would get a refund so that I could book a new flight because the airline did not withdraw the money yet. This is almost 2 1/2 months ago and I still do not have my refund. Bravofly just tells me that they are waiting for the Airline to refund the money and it can take up to 6 months. My only advice is don't book with them. They also charge you money every time you call them and their service is not worth the money.
I bought flight tickets from Bravofly a fortnight ago. Unfortunately the flights were not on the correct dates. I asked Bravofly to cancel the flights and refund my money. Bravofly confirmed in an email to me that they cancelled the flights and would refund the money Bravofly have not refunded any money. The customer service at Bravofly is terrible. None of the employees are willing to help or even seem to know what is going on. Do not use Bravofly! I intend to take legal action against Bravofly to attempt to enforce the payment of my refund.

I booked a flight 3 weeks ago with Bravofly, within 1/2 hour I realised I had made a mistake with the time so phoned and cancelled the booking. I was told 'no problem' we will refund you asap but will be charged 20 Euros for Admin. OK I said, that was acceptable even though I had already been charged £13 (5% for using Credit Card)
I have phoned 4 times now, (calls are to Switzerland) each time I am told the refund is being processed. I have phoned the Airline (United Airlines) who have told me the FLIGHT WAS NEVER CHARGED TO BRAVOFLY....... So basically they have had my money for 3 weeks now, not had to pay for anything at all. I have now put a claim into my Credit Card company to get a refund. I know it was my fault with the time mistake, but it does not take this long to rectify a problem.

Все отлично - и полет, и сервис, и система бронирования. Но советуем быть предельно внимательными при бронировании - изначальная цена, которую показывает сайт сначала значительно выросла при окончании бронирования из-за множества доп опций, о которых мы даже не догадывались раньше
Trust the other reviews and don’t do what I did and just book with them thinking it’ll be fine and that it’s marginally cheaper with them – it’s not worth it. I take many low cost flights and generally don’t need to change things because I wait till I lock down details before booking but on my trip which was out in Asia, I had to add luggage as well change the flight times on 2 of the flights I’d booked via Bravofly. Firstly they only work European hours, which is no great help when you’re stuck out on the other side of the world. Secondly, their operators didn’t have a great level of English, let alone Customer Service. The flight I tried to change involved several calls, promises from Bravofly to ring me back (but no call) and finally being told that the flight change wasn’t possible. Luckily I figured out the Airline booking ref from the confirmation email and did the change myself on their website. Unluckily the flight confirmation went to the Bravofly email address, so I had to ring back to get it. There the agent had the temerity to tell me off for changing the flight myself! I said I did that only because they couldn’t do it. He then said it wasn’t company policy to forward booking confirmation emails – what rot! We’ve paid, we should have the email. This airline (Tiger Airways) won’t let you board without it. He relented and sent one and it was fine in the end but god, it was a flight. The second change was adding luggage to another flight. They asked if they could ring me back, I said I couldn’t be contacted, I was abroad and they insisted on ringing the number on the booking, unwilling to pay the data roaming charges, I asked for them to contact me via email. So they did, emailing me to say they had tried ringing me but I wasn’t answering so could I please ring them. SUCH a waste of time. Believe me, learn from my lesson, AVOID THIS AGENT AT ALL COST – book direct or with someone reputable like Expedia or Opodo etc.
