I had part of my order cancelled as it was out of stock, however it was still showing in stock and when I reordered it immediately it arrived two days later!
problem blamed on Christmas rush!
wouldn't have minded so much if a apology email was sent advising the item had been cancelled even if it was an automated generic email rather than just an amended order email.
a voucher was offered after my email which was the same offer as available to all at the time and the email ended ' the item is still out of stock so check back often' even though I had already reordered and received the item which my account would have shown.
I would completely recommend boohoo to anyone as there is a wide range of fashional products to chose from. They deliver quite quickly after buying a product and all of these products are at a high standard. I buy a lot of products from boohoo and have had no problems, it's a great website!
The website is easy to navigate and therefore I spend more time on it. Everything is so cheap compared to other sites and the products better! Even returning goods is hassle free. The clothes I have purchased are all good quality, and for the price you can buy double as much than you would from a high street store.
Ordered items on a Monday expecting them by Friday, had to chase and they weren't even posted until the Friday so they arrived too late. The website stated 3-5 days delivery and charged me £3.99 for the privilege, first time I've ordered from them and think it will be the last also one item was out of stock, they didn't notify me I only knew when I had an email saying an item had been credited because this came before the parcel. Because of the lateness had to buy elsewhere and return this item
My order was dispatched after the time stated for it to be delivered I had no notification of what was wrong with my order. I contacted the customer service team which were not very informative and took a long time to respond. When my order came I had one item missing with again no explanation. I will think twice before using boohoo again.
Ordered 3 items and my money was taken for all 3. Received an email almost a week later saying all 3 items were out of stock. Complained on facebook and was given no real explanation of why this happened. Had to chase up 1 refund as well. Disgraceful service
Some items i bought off boohoo are things i love, however i have often been disappointed as the quality of the items was not clearly described and the price does not reflect how cheap some things actually are. I keep returning to the website for the simple reason that i just do not have time to go on shopping trips due to my hectic student-working lifestyle. I have also noticed that over the years their prices have been gradually increasing, and this is something people like me as well as myself are not very comfortable with - it is one thing a skirt's price increasing by 2 euro, but its another having a dress of no superior quality than another purchased last year from the same retailer being approximately 20 euro more, which happens to be the average price of the dresses at the time.
Communication with the personnel has never been an issue and the people seem to be rather friendly.
Overall i do like boohoo, but i can see so many ways it can be improved.
Usually I have no complaints about ordering from boohoo, but this time i find myself waiting around for a month for 2 shirts and a skirt? would really like these items by christmas, i havent got an email or anything about where my order is, i check & it got to customs on Dec 5th and its now the 11th. DONT UNDERSTAND??!!
I ordered three products on the same day from Boohoo.
A couple of days after placing the order I received an email telling me that two of the products were out of stock. When I checked my account it had been debited for all three products even though I would never be receiving two of them. I did get credited for the other two products but I cant see why I was debited in the first place.
Surely I shouldn't of been able to place the order in the first place if the item was out of stock.
I saw a outfit advertised on BooHoo.com recently but after much searching, I could not find it any anywhere. I resorted to Twitter, using both @boohoo and @boohoo_cshelp (4&5th Dec 2013) asking where to find the top and shirt... I even attached a picture. I tweeted three times and to date, I have not received any acknowledgement.
This is shocking! BooHoo should sack their social media managers and learn how to use the tool to improve their customer experience. If someone had helped me, it would have been my first experience of buying something from BooHoo. Unfortunately, I will not use BooHoo and have expressed my frustration on Twitter and to friends and family.
I ordered my items 16 days ago. After more than a week I received an email stating I should expect a $10 refund due to an item no longer being in stock. On the 11th day an email was finally sent saying I should expect my items by today which has yet to happen, and, if I am not mistaken, the website has an 8-10 day delivery system. I might venture to say this system is a bit broken
This dress looks exactly how it looks in the display picture. The print is lovely and unique. The colours are also very pretty. The dress does not fit that excellently, if I was to order it again I would get a size down. However, on the whole, I was very pleased with my purchase.
Good-looking on trend clothes but quality similar to some cheaper large retail stores. Fast delivery (except slightly longer near Christmas). Good for fast fashion... or if long term wear is not your goal. Choose carefully.
Ordering was easy and keeping track of my item was really simple.
When the dress arrived i was over the moon and felt a million dollars in it and to be fair it looked better than it did on the model when i ordered it.
I ordered a sweater and jeans from boo hoo, was unable to get ahold of customer service after needing size info. I returned jeans and ordered another pair. (now returning second pair too!)I have no clue as to when i will get refunded. Or if I even will get refunded for that matter !
I've used boohoo.com many times and have never had a problem before but unfortunately recent orders have been unsatisfactory. I ordered two dresses for a Christmas party 2weeks prior to the party, the week of the party only one dress was delivered, the other was refunded due to the item being out of stock when I purchased it. Unfortunately the dress that was delivered wasn't as expected so I had to find a quick alternative to wear to the party. Secondly I ordered two Christmas jumpers last week. They were dispatched 5days after the order was made and with no next day delivery option, I think this is quite a slow process. When I received the delivery, I found that one of the jumpers was the wrong style, although it was similar, it wasn't what I wanted but will have to do as again, I can't wait another 5days at least. Unfortunately these recent experiences have tainted my view of boohoo.com and well have to consider whether I would order from them again in future.
Placed an order of £140 approx, on 1st Dec 2013. Next day delivery service was unfortunately down at the time, so I went with the standard delivery that is supposed to take up to 5 working days. It is now 11 Dec, and I haven't received my order...still. Tracking order in Hermes website is pointless - all it says is 'Order Generated' and it has said this since 5th Dec (when I was expecting to receive item).
Out of pocket, as a couple of items were bought for specific events, which have now passed, so I had to go shopping for alternatives. Have a charity xmas jumper day this Friday, and my jumper is part of the order I made. Want to know EXACTLY WHEN my order will arrive, so I know whether to go out and buy another jumper.
Really, the delay and lack of communication about it, has dampened my excitement about the stuff and it's so annoying. Now if items don't fit, I will not have time to send back and get a replacement before xmas.
Refunding the delivery isn't enough and this isn't the first time orders haven't arrived when they are supposed to, which is frustrating considering you have one of the highest delivery rates amongst many online shopping sites.
Absolutely love boohoo! I'm addicted to the heels especially. Have bought many many pairs & will keep buying for as long as I can walk in them, & maybe after! :p

I contacted the Customer Service Team twice: once immediately after ordering.
After not hearing anything for over 24 hours later, I contacted them again and had to wait once more.
I believe a speedy response to customers goes alone way...it will be a while before I order again.
